I have to admit, it’s not very merry for me here. I’ve been trying to stay very positive, but it’s terribly hard. Sharron has been extra awesome and we’ve talked on the phone a lot lately which has helped a lot. I am definitely not in as bad of a place as I could be and we’ve even had Christmas parties and today they’re serving up a big feast all day long. It’s all good stuff and helps, but it’s just not home, you know?
How has your Christmas been?
Annie and I are going crazy jumping between family functions.
Today we’re doing (I think) that final Christmas get-together. We’ve been at one every day since Friday.
Still, we’re having fun, and we loved the gifts you and Sharron got us. Thanks!

We’re totally having Christmas when you get back here. And New Years. And all the other holidays you’ve missed while deployed.
