In two weeks I’ll be heading to Montgomery for a week long class there. This morning my boss told me that he might consider sending to from Montgomery to Maryland for another week long class. Wow! Two weeks in the states? Sounds like a good time to me! I’ve been itching to go to both of these classes since I took over this job a year ago. Both of them are parts of my main duties and it would have been a great help to have had the training sooner. The big downside is that I’d have to be away from Sharron for twice as long! It probably wouldn’t be so bad if we hadn’t already been apart so much since, well, since forever I guess. We’ve had more time apart than many other couples have. :-(
What’s really funny is that I got an email this morning requesting volunteers for a 4 month deployment to Afghanistan! :-) What’s even funnier is that it’s again for an exec position with an operations group! I think I’ve done enough of that to last a lifetime!
Unfortunately, I think it would be accurate to say you two have spent more time apart than some couples have spent together. :(

I have nothing to complain about in comparison, but so far this year I’ve been working a swing shift and Kat’s working days. I see her for just about 1 hour a day. It’s not a lot, but when we have time together, it’s the best!
