Yesterday I flew to Kadena Air Base, Japan for a Cameron-Brooks information meeting. They are a recruiting firm that solely deals with junior military officers. My friend Alex was accepted by them and placed into an exciting job in Corporate America; he recommended me. This morning I met with their representative for a personal interview to see if I would be a good fit for them to market. I am proud to say that I was selected to be represented by them. Woo! :-) This is especially outstanding as they only accept 12% of their applicants. After the RIF, this is a huge boost to my self esteem.

“an exciting job in Corporate America” Ha ha! Very funny! Is Corporate America really exciting? :)
Hooray! That’s great news, Pat! Any idea where you guys are planning on moving to, or is that going to be determined by the job you find?
Urn – Don’t you already work there, so shouldn’t you know?
Scott – No idea where we’ll be moving to. I’ll be interviewing with companies from all over the US.
